COVID-19 HALTED MY TWO BOOKS. When the pandemic struck, I had two books awaiting an agent and publisher, AMORE IN TUSCANY and A GOAT OF A DIFFERENT COLOR. Covid-19 shut down the printing presses.  Isolated at home, folks who always wanted to write a book sat down and wrote it.  Authors flooded agents and small publishers with their queries. Agents, working from home send an avalanche of book proposals to publishers. Now there is a backlog of books piled up at agent offices and publishing houses. It will take a while to untangle the mess. There are signs that the siege is over. Last week, a small publisher said it was interested in “Amore in Tuscany”  and asked for the entire manuscript. God be willing, my books will start moving toward the bookshelves. I will keep you posted.
